“Learn to wait until your change comes”

Genesis 45

"God is in the middle of everything working it out for our good"

Joseph was the eleventh son of Jacob who was the son of Isaac, who was the son of Abraham, his first son through his favored wife, Rachel. At the age seventeen Joseph began to give his father bad reports about his brothers. We are also told that Jacob "loved Joseph more than any of his other sons, because he had been born to him in his old age. Jacob made Joseph a coat of many colors". Joseph’s brothers knew their father loved Joseph more than them, which caused them to hate him. To make matters worse, Joseph began relating his dreams to the family—prophetic visions showing Joseph one day ruling over his family.
