Bad Parents Or Just Bad Children

Right in 2014 we have a lot of young people that are flat out disrespectful, violent and lazy. Is this the parents fault or simply the times we are living in. Do you remember when you were scared of your parents and other adults? Growing up back in the day seems like it was very different or was it from today?
