Amy Robbins-Wilson

Yesterday on Word of Mom I had the chance to share Amy Robbins-Wilson from Angelsong Creations - unfortunately, technology was not our friend! We decided to re-record th show and add 30 minutes to it because what Amy shares with us deserves the extra time.  Passionate about supporting new moms because when you bring your baby home it can be a shock, Amy is a voice for new moms. The myth is that when you have a baby, your life is filled with joy as your instinctive mothering skills blossom to handle any mothering challenge. The truth is that new motherhood is both blissful and exhausting. It’s easy to talk to people about the blissful moments but who do you talk to about the exhaustion and the overwhelming times? Reading shelves full of books about birth did not prepare Amy for bringing my beautiful son home. She needed concrete tips and techniques and needed them fast. Deciding to fill a need, Amy and her husband and started Angelsong Creations, LLC in 2009. I had finished writing my book Transformational Mothering and was in the process of recording The Divine Hours of Motherhood. We love working together. Both the book and CD went on to win Mom’s Choice Awards. I recently released a new album entitled Lullaby and Goodnight-33 lullabies for babies which comes free with our Mommy Jingles course.
