Tonight's special guest is Kim Luu of MONEY AND RISK! KIM LUU Kim Luu owns a financial management and consulting firm in Newport Beach, CA. The company handles strategic planning for businesses and individuals. Services include management of pension plans and 401ks, estate planning, and distribution planning during retirement. She also runs an insurance division for an independent full service brokerage firm. She has extensive experience working with small business owners for over 25 years. Previously, she worked at Merrill Lynch and was a Vice President with Wells Fargo Bank for 15 years. Her prior employment included 5 years with Fleet/Royal Bank of Scotland and several years of business consulting. She is a sought after speaker. Her speaking engagements included conferences and the UCLA Sloan School of Management. Ms. Luu is the publisher of Money and Risk, (moneyandrisk.com), an online financial magazine addressing risk and financial issues for business owners. She is active in the community as a volunteer for seniors and children issues. S She provided mentoring and classes to foster children in Orange County. She runs a monthly business roundtable for women professionals and business owners. She serves on the Board of Directors for Aged Well Senior Services which provides over half a million Meals on Wheels a year and services to seniors in 17 cities. Ms. Luu also serves on the Board of Directors of Southland Economic Development Corporation.
