Live Everyday Like It's Your Last

LIVE EVERYDAY LIKE IT'S YOUR LAST:

No, this is not a call to lascivious revelry. Rather, it’s a call to a dependably righteous lifestyle. Moreover, it’s a call to hope. When Christ was hanging on the cross, one of the malefactors next to him pleaded that Christ remember him after the resurrection. Christ’s answer was so much more than a promise of remembrance. Christ’s vow of compassion was this:

….To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.  Luke 23:43

In Ezekiel God spoke these words:

‘Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die….& not that he should return from his ways, & live?’  Ezekiel 18:23

These scriptures tell us that salvation is an ever-present hope for the living. They are evidence of God’s merciful & forgiving nature. The promise of salvation is the most valuable of all human possibility. I plead with you to never allow yourselves to be found wanting. Let no one & nothing turn your vision away from the eyes of Christ, remembering always to stand strong in faith & enduring appreciation of the God we serve. But if for any reason you have fallen, the hope remains.  Seek him with an open heart & he shall be found.
