"Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm" (Jeremiah 17:5).
From the beginning of our existence, Israel has always had a weakness; idolatry. When Isarel would not accept our Lord as the official and only King, they pleaded for an earthly king. To this day, every Israelite movement has always leaned towards putting their leaders on a higher pedestal than Christ. This generally occurs due to a lack of knowlege of the Bible and lack of understanding of the Saviour and His reason for being manifest in the flesh to save Israel.
