When the Water calls - Help is on the way...

Join WnT Radio for another informational show, this week the topic is "When the water calls, help is on the way" with host Russ Letica Board of Directors member for WnT. Our guests this evening are Carole Blodgett and Souta Calling Last.

Carole Blodgett is one of those that are inspired and being called to walk the water.  She is participating in a Water is Life ~ Androscoggin River Walk July 8, 2013 – July 22, 2013. The theme is the same theme of all the walks, since 2003: “Ni guh Izhi chigay Nibi onji.” (“I will do it for the water.”) when Josephine Mandamin decided to walk, and others joined her.

Our second guest is Souta Calling Last. She is the Co-Founder of Sun Valley Natives that has organized a series of community teach-ins on water quality and water resource education and water conservation. She was involved in establishing an annual lake shore clean up on Canyon Lake, Tonto National Forest. Her work stems from her tribal roots in making decisions about environmental management, conservation and preservation.
