With Javier out of the fold this week due to a daylight savings time hang up, Cole and Marc use the updated 2017 DraftExpress mock draft as a guide to discuss prospects not previously covered in detail.

We begin by addressing ranking discrepancies we have over De’Aaron Fox, Malik Monk and Lauri Markkanen, spotlighting some in depth takeaways from Markkanen’s conference tournament run.

We proceed to analyze the games of Justin Jackson and Terrance Ferguson, two wings that we had not covered in depth yet, both of whom DraftExpress currently has in their lottery. Are they lottery caliber talents? We then hit on John Collins, OG Anunoby and Tyler Lydon quickly before transitioning to some draft philosophy talk on the devaluation of fours and non-special fives in the league, and why it’s important to distinguish those archetypes from legitimate defensive fives.

We wrap up the podcast with quick NCAA Tournament thoughts before the bracket was released, touching on some interesting prospect games that could materialize.
