Mount Vernon Mayor Richard Thomas speaks to the recent introduction by New York State Assemblymembers Sandy Galef and Tom Abinanti that if passed, would prohibit party chairpeople from also serving concurrently as Westchester Board of Election Chairs so as to not be voted into positions that are inherently in conflict. We delve further into the conduct by Mount Vernon Comptroller Maureen Walkers, as well as some City Councilmembers whose conduct and continuing recalcitrance has embolden federal penalties for not maintaining infrastructure as demanded and forced Mount Vernon to suffer financial penalties that could have been avoided but instead dared the process that will instead undermine the financial capacity of the city. This segment airs from 10:30-11am.

Yonkers Tribune Editor-in-Chief Hezi Aris delves into a few local, national, and international news items with commentary and analysis for the balance of the broadcast. Listen from 11-11:30am.
