Westchester On the Level is host to Film Critic and Curator Sherif Awad this Monday morning, December 9, 2013, from 10 - 11a.m. from Cairo, Egypt. We'll speak to Sherif about returning home to Egypt. Mark Cox, director of Bridgestone’s Winter Driving School and well-known winter driving expert joins us at 11 a.m.  Mark will share tips for safe driving during the winter months – specifically, what to look out for, how to react, how to conduct a pre-driving check, etc. Additionally, if time permits, Mark can debunk some common winter driving myths, including:

• Myth 1: You don’t need winter tires unless it’s snowing.
• Myth 2: If you have all wheel drive, you’re good to go in the snow.
• Myth 3:  If you have all-season tires, you may not need to switch to winter tires.
• Myth 4: Under-inflate your tires for better traction.
