Of course I've only tried to listen to this show and Shirley's program last Sunday. Noticed your commitment to Richard Fine’s case. I know him, we crossed paths in our attempts to stand up to the judges of LA. He helped me a lot, without even knowing.., and I wish I could help him as well. . Please consider extending your efforts regarding the abysmal state of the justice system here in LA to the disgrace of the 10,000 Rampart-FIPs - discussed in my petition: . http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/restore-justice-in-l-a . At least 10,000 FIPs (falsely imprisoned persons) are held in Los Angeles prisons after being falsely convicted and sentenced to long prison terms by the same judges that incarcerate Richard Fine. And they refuse to let these people go 10 years after a series of extensive investigations concluded that they were imprisoned as the result of corruption by police. IN fact - corruption by judges was to blame no less, but as usual, it was overlooked. The two main references I provide in the petition are: 1) PBS Frontline 2) Official report of the LAPD from 2006. . We need to generate grass root support, 1,000 is my minimum goal for signatures, so that I could go back to Washington DC and demand action, on the FIPs, on Richard Fine, and more... I liked your quote from Isaiah… perfectly matching the situation… nothing new under the sun, and the guy (Isaiah) was a great writer… was blessed with a gift… My favorite verse is from Daniel: 7:10 I believe: . "The judgment was set and the books were opened". . “Dina yetiv ve-sifrin ptihu” - that is the Aramaic original. It is from the Hebrew Bible, but one of the books originally written in Aramaic... The minister for the courts in LA, Reverend Dayyan, an Assyrian, was shocked when he figured out I spoke some Aramaic… I have good evidence that the core issue with the LA judges is that they keep the Public Records of the LA Courts closed, where by law they must be opened. Opening the books would be sufficient to get the FIPs released and generate a major revolution in the justice system here. . I have already been up to the top of the US justice Dept in Aug Sept 2008, Dianne Feinstein, Senator, and Diane Watson, Congresswoman, provided key assistance. But it was under Bush, I want to go back now, with some signatures to back me up... . Would be great if you could help... I am also lining up various NGOs to help in various aspects of this struggle... this is a huge battle... Also have been in contact with key people on the judiciary committees of house and senate for almost a year... But disparately need grass root support, some signatures from the U.S. or even better - the world...
