The plot of this book started out as a tale of a broken trust…of someone in power, whose reputation was in jeopardy…for the lack of honesty and loyalty from others around him… and how those challenges were over come and his reputation restored and his relationships made whole again…but that is not how this case worked out.

This a story about an aging business man trying to hold his financial legacy in place for his son but finds himself on the brink of losing everything because of plots by his trusted confidents who were only interested in building their own empires before the man’s inheritance could be bestowed on his only heir. 

A wealthy after market automobile refurbishing entrepreneur holding his legacy in place for his son a former air force fighter pilot fines himself on the brink of losing everything to the IRS investigating political corruption activities behind the rapid growth of his company due to plots by his trusted confidents 2 Senior executives—one a financial consultant and the other a real estate consultant only interested in building their own empires before the owner could establish an inheritance for his heir.  

The Executives conspire to kill the heir apparent but miss and kill his wife and child. Then on the second attempt kill the wrong man. And on the third attempt fine themselves in Marshal Bailey’s cross hairs. And as Marshal Bailey and his partner get closer to solving the case the list of suspects widens and all hell breaks lose. Both of the owners key executives find themselves dead and no one saw the real killer coming even though they were standing in plain sight.
