Join Kelly and jbjd on their regular Saturday morning slot on Lone Star Voice, with a twist. For the first time, Kelly will take the controls as host while Butch Moss is out of town.
jbjd's work on ballot eligibility issues here in TX (and throughout the country) have informed the eligibility discussion for the past 4 years. Since January, she has been focusing on eligibility related issues here in TX, with an eye toward making sure voters are fully informed about candidate eligibility before the November election. Kelly and jbjd will be continuing the ongoing discussion about trying to persuade SoS Hope Andrade to fulfill her compact with Texans by fully informing voters about eligibility related issues. Kelly will report on the past week's developments, including the response she (finally) received from the SoS to her complaint about Keith Ingram, Director of Elections. Mr Ingram had dismissed her attempts to present him with evidence of the specific problems she identified with the information currently available on the Secretary's official web site. But the main event will be a primer of sorts on "Political Campaign Advertising 101" which will support these serious charges: SoS Andrade not only fails to inform voters when it comes to candidate eligibility but also intentionally misinforms them!
