Scripture tells us "because sin and iniquity will abound, the love of many will grow cold." Cold towards God, lukewarm in fact. God calls his people, then if they should fall away; he will send a strong message. We are those who see a tremendous shaking going on with many troubles. It is time to listen and to hear.

Here judgment on sins finds mercy at the hand of God who desires his people to seek His face. Repentance was the message given by Jeremiah along with his warning. Isaiah told the people in advance and in the message of coming judgment was mercy and grace. Today a lesson for all people.
