God's plan of salvation for the world can only be found in Jesus Christ, God's perfect sacrifice, the Lamb of God, Who took the penalty of our fallen state, was crucified, and raised from the dead in victory over the powers of darkness, sin, sickness and death that was against us. He shed His innocent blood in order to redeem humanity from the dominion of Satan, back to fellowship with God. God, through Jesus Christ, will save anyone who asks Him for salvation. Sin simply means that all of us are born with a fallen nature in that we all "miss the mark of perfection," which was lost in the Garden of Eden through the fall of Adam ; Eve, this fallen state being passed from generation to generation. The imperfection we are born with cannot live on eternally; just look at the state of the world we live in. We receive salvation by asking the Lord Jesus Christ to save us by an act of faith. This act of faith is a conviction that the gospel message of Christ is true, in which we acknowledge our need for salvation (this is repentance "a change of mind"), and believe in our hearts that God sent His only begotten Son to save us. Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
