Nicole and Lori Bray are a blissfully married couple who encountered more in their seven years of marriage than most will in a lifetime of years together. Around the five-year mark, Nicole, previously known as Michael, came out to Lori as being Transgender. They committed to remaining married and to finding a way for Nicole to transition from Male-to-Female. Together, they decided to educate the world about their story. Nicole, an independent filmmaker, is documenting her transition on film: “Nicole’s Story: A Transgender Woman’s Journey.” Lori, a Licensed Psychologist, who specializes in working with the LGBT population, is writing a book about how their marriage survived and thrived through her wife’s transition from Male-to-Female.
