Valerie is the author of nine distinguished books including the topics of the environment, psychology and more. She is a teacher of depth psychologist and has studied the ideas of Carl Jung and taught courses regularly at the C.G. Jung Foundation in NYC. She is the Editor of Distinctly Montana magazine. An ardent naturalist and eco-psychologist, for seven years she was a Science Editor at the National Audubon Society in New York City with the purpose of educating the public about ecological issues. Grosset/Putnam has published her National Audubon Society Almanac of the Environment / The Ecology of Everyday Life. Her most recent book, Dreaming of Animals, Dialogue Between Self and World, addresses the link between the „inner? world of our imagination, emotions and thoughts, and the „outer? world where we encounter animals. Honored by the United Nations as “a most remarkable woman,” she is also listed in various Who?s Who directories.
