V.O.I.C.E. of the People - "DYING TO LIVE" (w/ Philly Folks)

"What would you do if you were told that you only had six months to live...???" Sounds like the tag line from a few famous movies, right? Well, for Jermaine Jenkins, AKA Philly Folks, this is the story of his reality. Philly Folks, age 33, has been diagnosed with cancer in his lungs.

While some would consider this tragic and give up on hope, actor, writer, poet, and playwright, Philly Folks now uses his time to tell his story and put out a message of hope and inspiration.

Join us this SUNDAY as we sit down with Philly Folks to hear his story and how he is using it to educate and inspire others through poetry and performance.

We will also be featuring "HEALTH FROM THE HEART", AND AS A SPECIAL TREAT THIS WEEK, the segment will be extended and we will allow our listeners to call and speak with Dr. Smith. "HEALTH FROM THE HEART" is a health segment by Dr. Emily Smith featuring health tips, natural remedies, stress relief and relaxation techniques, and holistic health methods. LOG IN... LISTEN...
