USC PRESENTS AUTHOR VIPIN MEHTA ON GOBAL HEALING
As a licensed engineer, author Vipin Mehta, P.E., M.A.P.A. applies his knowledge of engineering and physics to describe the principles and components behind the inner workings of the human mind, which is referred to as Metaphysics. Released by Fulbright Publishing four years after his first book Thinking Outside the Box, the final two installments of Mehta’s Global Healing book series – Awakening Spirituality and New Vistas of Hope – delve into how human consciousness can evolve from nationalism to globalism and from patriotism to humanism, ultimately achieving peace through Global Healing. Born in India and raised in Mumbai during the Independence Movement, Mehta’s interest in Metaphysics began in 1947, when he was first exposed to Mahatma Gandhi’s teachings. He went on to study the work of Spiritual Masters including the Indian mystics Krishnamurthy, Rabindranath Tagore (1912 Nobel Prize Winner) and Osho along with Western spiritualists such as Edgar Cayce and Ruth Montgomery. Mehta added to this by studying the scriptures of everything from Hinduism, Taoism, and Jainism to Christianity, Judaism, Islam, and Sufi. Mehta’s belief that people could forge unity despite seemingly disparate faith systems runs throughout his Global Healing books. Mehta shows the significance of metaphysical knowledge and how different mindsets impact individuals, societies, nations and ultimately the state of the world. InAwakening Spirituality we are shown how to realign ourselves with our soul’s journey by changing from a belief-driven religious society to a choice-driven spiritual society, so that humanity may consciously choose a path of Global Healing.
