Born and raised in the Metro Washington, DC area to Debra D. Thompson and Sherman (Hajji) Harrison. Shamara is an American Singer-Songwriter. Shamara wants nothing more in life than the opportunity to bless the world with her musical gift. She began singing and performing at the tender age of 4. Growing up with a diverse musical background she strives for perfection of her craft, and uses her journey as motivation. Music runs through her veins and continues to be the back drop of her every day life.
