Who Were the Montanist & an introduction to 1 Corinthians

Having been off the air for a while I wanted to start back up looking at an early heritical religious group called the Montanist and what made them heritical.  Though there is not an abundance of information regarding them what we do have provides a clear picture.  This will have immediate application in the Christian life today as it will give a frame work to examine those groups who claim to be true but are actually false.  In the second part of the program we will begin our study of 1 Corinthians with an overview of the book, the times, the culture, and what else was going on in the world.  We will also jump ahead to the eventual destruction of Corinth and the church that was there.

After having to leave our last church for grieving circumstances regarding their affirming false ministries/churches I hope, by GOD'S grace to equip others with information to aid in their looking at a church or ministries.  We will also look into how we recover from such heart breaking circumstances.  As always the phone lines will be open for you to call in with your question or comment.  Hope to see you there.
