Guess who's coming to dinner? Jungle Fever. Get Out. It's the conversation that won't go away because we won't let it go away. And we won't let it go away because we don't want it to go away. Without question, race in sex matters.  But how much does it matter?  Sex in The Struggle wants to hear from you!

Sex in The Struggle conversations are based on the book Forgive: the new mantra and practice for Black Men by Ulysses “Butch” Slaughter. Get the book now at ulyssesbutchslaughter.com.

From the essay "Something That's Good for Me"

We shouldn’t need a special occasion to make love. We shouldn’t require perfect circumstances to submerge into pure and playful passion.

This is sure to be one of the most difficult sections of this book for some Black Men to engage. It’s so simple to dismiss sexual healing as silly indulgence. It may be easier to puff out our chest than to open up our hearts. Marvin said love is life. Lovemaking is generative. Are you making love? And if you’re not making love, what are you fighting for?
