Why is FLUORIDE getting a bad rap?

According to the Fluoride Action Network, as of February 2012, over 4,000 professionals have signed the network's statement calling for an end to water fluoridation. The signers of the call-to-action include medical, scientific, and environmental professionals such as nurses, doctors, dentists, lawyers, pharmacists, veterinarians, and water treatment workers. In May 2004, Seven Stories Press, published a hard hitting, evidenced based book titled The Fluoride Deception written by award-winning journalist Christopher Bryson. In the book, Mr. Bryson compiles an impressive amount of facts demonstrating fluoride's toxicity to humans and the environment, plus, he adeptly shows the ties between prominent researchers that were actually the spokes persons for corporations that the fluoride industry directly benefited. Today, we will talk to Dr. Victor Zeines about some of the points brought up in The Fluoride Deception, and we will also ask him where the American Dental Association stands on the issue of fluoridation.
