PAYING YOUR DUES TO REACH SUCCESS WITH WORLD PHOTOGRAPHER JOHN OLIVO
Success is the prize that doesn’t come without hard work, humbling ourselves, making ourselves teachable and determined that whatever we do along the way is done with excellence.
In this episode of God, Where Were You When? world-photographer John Olivo talks to host Sherrie Clark specifically about this subject, one that he knows all too well. He had humbled himself and remained an assistant to a master photographer who had the best studio in New York City, sticking it out for eight years despite the fact that all previous assistants lasted no more than a couple of weeks. His teachable spirit paid off in more ways than one. This master photographer taught John everything he needed to know about being a successful master photographer himself, travelling the world to photograph royalty and celebrities, as well as how to operate a successful photography business.
