Victoria Balfour is a former investigative journalist who has reported on crime for People and Time magazines. After writing about her own childhood sexual abuse for Vogue magazine, a friend of hers revealed that he had been molested by California child psychiatrist Dr. William Ayres as a child. Victoria was instrumental in getting Ayres charged with sexual abuse.

Currently, Balfour works both as an investigative consultant for lawyers on pedophile cases and as a victim's advocate. She is working with Philadelphia attorney Slade Mclaughlin to find more victims of Jerry Sandusky and with Newport Beach, California attorney John Manly to find more victims of pedophile priest Father Michael Kelly in California.
