8:30 PM Eastern Time zone Patrick's Tuesday Night Review with Richard Whittaker

Richard E. Whittaker is the founder of The R.E. Whittaker Co. His cleaning machines and chemical innovations have led to a number of patents and revolutionary techniques in the maintenance of carpets and hard surface floors. Whittaker’s approach to business and to life is to search for ways to help people. This has lead to a lifetime of service to others resulting in enduring relationships with customers and friends.

Richard Whittaker’s little book, One Day at a Time is an answer to his prayer, “Lord, tell me what I can do to help people in my church.” All of a sudden, a man who does not consider himself a writer had prayers pouring out of him. So he wrote the prayers down, took the pages to a local printer, and began sharing his book with others. Soon, he received letters of thanks and heartfelt stories about how his book helped people in need. Orders for over 13,000 books were filled so others could share the prayers with people who needed hope, inspiration, courage, comfort, and love. This is a book that is meant to be shared. The writer’s hope is that those who just need assurance about life in general will find it as they pray, reflect, and contemplate daily.
