Born in Philadelphia in 1996, Sam was composing songs from his earliest days. Beginning in 2006, Sam began to write songs for The Bulldog Brothers. He is the front-man of the band, and is the guitar player, song-writer, and lead singer. Coming from the Waldorf School of Philadelphia, The Bulldog Brothers were founded by Roman Fiorella and Sam Rogers-Petro when the two of them were in Third Grade. The original band was Sam, Roman, and their classmate Oliver. They played mostly covers, on Sam’s Junior Acoustic guitar. They gathered a small fan-base throughout their school. When they were in Fourth Grade, Sam split off and began also playing with a different band, called the Invaders. They played mostly Punk style music. After some minor conflicts, the two bands decided to combine. At this point, Roman was elected as the bass player, Jacob Hoffman, a member of The Invaders, played drums, Ben Rogers-Petro played Keyboard, and Sam played guitar and sung. After the bands combined, Sam brought some of the Punk style back to The Bulldog Brothers. This shaped the bands genre. Sam has been the primary songwriter, and at this point he began writing more rock style songs.
