"No one is good -- except God alone." "Believe in God."

The claim of the first followers of jesus, known not as Christians but as the Followers of the Way (not followers of the man) was not that he was God.  Jesus revealed God at work in a human being.  Since that time Jesus has gone from the Son of Man to God. The problem is that in this orchestrated transition we have lost the example to which we could aspire.  In our wildest imagining we cannot be God. Because Jesus taught -- no one is good except God.
