Transformative Health recently had the opportunity to sit down with David Muntz, senior vice president and chief information officer of GetWellNetwork.

During Part I of our podcast series, David discussed key areas health care providers should focus on to meet Stage 2 Meaningful Use patient engagement requirements, as well as how to develop better patient portals.

In our second installment, David discusses other key issues a health care CIO must consider in 2014. These include achieving Meaningful Use, dealing with changes in the payment model, data security and the talent shortage.  He also discusses the advanced role of the patient, and how they need the right innovations to help change health outcomes.
