Maria McGrath was born in Ireland and suffered with a debilitating stutter throughout her childhood and early adult life. The stutter crushed every aspect of her life. When Maria moved to London she worked as an accountant because it allowed her to remain in the back office , away from situations that would require her to speak . A few years later she found the McGuire Program that helps adults gain control over their stutter. Maria took the course offered by The McGuire Program and was able to conquer her stutter after lots of hard work . She became fluent and began enjoying speaking. Maria eventually moved to the US and decided that she enjoyed speaking so much that she would launch the McGuire Program in the US so that she could help others become fluent and overcome the crippling effects of stuttering. David Nemeroff at the age of twelve, started training in the martial arts and it changed my life. Since that time I have made them my life's pursuit, earning black belts in 9 different styles of martial arts, becoming the Aikido director for an Asian accredited martial arts organization, the successor to Fukasa-ryu Aikido, getting my book "Enter into Aikido" published and became a professor of Aikido at Penn State University. I am also working with two charities "Support our Troops" and the "Army Fisher House Foundation," donating a portion of the proceeds of my book to help these charities when the book is purchased through my website. My goal is to share the martial arts since they helped me so much.
