Around 10 years ago, Sal began experiencing the symptoms of Ataxia, a neurological disorder that affects muscle coordination. This disease is degenerative and affects Sal's ability to walk and talk. It also impairs his ability to do even the simplest things such as eating and drinking. Sal was once a great guitar player and I jammed with him for many years and in many different projects. Sal currently lives with his mom, daughter, and granddaughter. Due to this disorder, Sal is unable to work. We want to wish Sal the happiest of birthdays and there will be a benefit show at 60 East in Clifton Heights on March 29, 2014 at 9:00pm. Rellik, Hellblock 6, Terreign, and Lost Tribes of Icarus will be playing that night to honor Sal. All proceeds at the door will go directly to Sal and his family. We are also hoping to chance off a basket of cheer and have a 50|50. Please come out and support Sal, $5.00 at the door! This was written by Sal's good friend and former bandmate Matt Dwyer, who will also be co-hosting this show.
