But ... isn't "Atlantis" -- ostensibly, an ancient, super high-tech terrestrial civilization, said to have existed "thousands of years before the beginnings of written history" ... ~6000 years ago ... ostensibly "totally destroyed in an ancient planetary cataclysm ..." -- just a made-up myth?; how can we be discussing events from a time BEFORE "Atlantis" ... if the whole idea of "ancient, technological civilizations" is just fiction? :)
