Happy Insurrection Day

The New York Times, on January 6th, attacks Glenn Beck by name but means all conservative media. A bipartisan group of lawmakers is entertaining a plan to “reform” the Electoral Count Act amid the anniversary of January 6 and Democrats’ efforts to “reform” the filibuster to pass a pair of election overhaul bills. Facebook, now called “Meta,” is being sued over its alleged responsibility in the killing of a federal officer in May of 2020. A lawyer representing several of the women allegedly victimized by billionaire and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein said Wednesday that it was a “gut punch” that Ghislaine Maxwell could receive a new trial after it was revealed that one of the jurors may have withheld his past sexual abuse and used it to sway the jury.
