But … well, let's just say that things didn't work out the way Paul Ryan planned. The media is reporting this as a failure for Trump, but is it? The investigation into Russian involvement with the Trump campaign continued this week with a strange development and renewed calls for an independent counsel. Neil Gorsuch's confirmation hearing continued as well. Judge Gorsuch conducted himself like a non-partisan who would make rulings based on the law, while Democrats made clear that's not what they want on the SCOTUS. All this and more as time allows.
