There was a time in America when we celebrated the differences between men and women. But now, contrary to all science and common sense, we’re supposed to believe that there is no difference. (And if you insist there is, you just might be accused of a hate crime!) Our culture—and our laws—are endorsing a worldview that insists gender is a "social construct" rather than a biological fact and that gender can be "fluid" sometimes changing day to day. Today I'll be discussing this with Ashley McGuire, the author of Sex Scandal: The Drive to Abolish Male and Female. Recently C-SPAN raised some eyebrows when they released their ranking of U.S. presidents. I'll have historian and musician Matt Fitzgibbons on to talk about C-SPAN's rankings and maybe a ranking of his own. All this and more as time allows.
