Laura Wagner's a film critic for “Classic Images,” iconic tome which is everything classic films. An avid movie watcher early on, Laura took notes. She had a notebook and when she re-watched a movie, and she did often, she’d review her notes and mark off that she saw it again. During school lunch each day, she read movie books. Later, after homework, she read more movie books … and she began “correcting” some of those books.

So begins the story of a lady who’s lived and breathed movies all her life. There’s almost nothing Laura doesn't know about a movie. So when she began reviewing for “Classic Images” years ago, she became quite a sensation in classic movie fandom. She also reviews industry books——the wildly famous to the barely-known.

Say Laura's name and anyone who knows anything about the industry knows who you’re talking about. If you’re an author with a book on classic entertainment—depending on whether Laura liked it or didn’t—you shake in your boots or bow at her feet. Her 2nd book, LET ME TELL YOU HOW I REALLY FEEL: THE UNCENSORED BOOK REVIEWS OF CLASSIC IMAGES' LAURA WAGNER takes what she did for Classic Images and removed buffers. This is no-holds-barred Laura—and that’s entertaining.

The Three Wise Girls chat with Laura about her reviews and outlandish “outtakes.” She explains, “Because of space limitations, language or editorial changes, some of my columns have been altered. After all, Classic Images is a family paper....”

Laura doesn’t go easy on herself, either. She has heard from those on the other side of her page. The book takes this into account by including some hate mail received.

Join us June 17th for a conversation you won't soon forget. Classic films, actors—known and obscure—authors … maybe YOU … no one's safe. Let Laura Wagner tell you what she REALLY thinks: 347-994-3835.
