Tom Proctor is a distance athlete from the Western New York Region. He has competed in hundreds of races in indoor/outdoor track & cross country. His highlights include:

Empire State Games Gold Medal in 2000 for the 10K Run
Member of USA Championship (USATF 8K Championship) team that won the 8K team title in 2003 (Central Park, NYC)
Broke five school records at Buffalo State College in 2001 – and is the former record holder of the indoor 3000 meter & current holder of outdoor 10,000 meter distances.
Only conference champion in Buffalo State College history at 10,000 meters (track)- 2001
All Atlantic Region (First) Team for Cross Country – 2001
6th Place (2nd American) Around The Bay 30K Road Race (1:42:27) – 2002

Tom Proctor was a freelance writer for Greater Niagara Newspapers in 2005, where he eventually became a Sports writer for The Buffalo Current, a subsidy of Greater Niagara Newspapers.

Tom Proctor is the 2008 Manager’s Story of The Year winner for Buffalo.com

Tom Proctor is the winner of the Western New York Music Award for Best Broadcast/Podcast for Radio for 2012, 2013 & 2014 – hosting The Thomas Loop on ALL WNYRadio.com

Tom Proctor is one half of the WNY Music Award winning music project, Acoustic Mile for 2012.

Tom Proctor was the former lead guitarist for Mike & Tom – Acoustic Duo – who have played dozens of venues throughout Western New York, along with performing at First Niagara Center in 2004.
