8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
No need to hope for a treasure map that will guide you to lost treasure or a career that ensures financial success. God gives a clear roadmap to prosperity in Joshua 1:8. The verse says a lot, however. We must know the word of God to observe it. As Christians, we don't need to stress about whether we are doing all that God commands. He will guide us day by day and counts us righteous for believing in Jesus as our Savior. The promises of the Christian life are amazing, and God keeps all of them.
