The Lord continues to give specific instructions on how to handle impurities. These very graphic details point to a bigger issue, which God says is that "impurity would defile my Tabernacle." The holiness of God is an enormous concept to grasp; I keep that in mind when I read about such things as menstrual periods and semen, mentioned here.
How do we deal with all of our impurities? No need to take steps to be ceremonially clean. Only Jesus can make us the pure and holy vessels that are now the home of God.
