Join us for a very specal edition of the Thinking Out Loud Radio Show that we are calling "Georgia On My Mind." In the spirit of that inconic song sung by the legendary Blue Artist Ray Charles, we are addressing some very meaningful and important concerns we have with the new voting legislation that was passed and signed by Gov Brian Kemp in the State of Georgia. Having seen this happen just a few days ago, we couldn't sit idly by and not offer some kind of substantive discussion about this highly controversial and racist legislation that is targeted Black Voters in the State of Georgia. We felft it was important that we used this platform to share our concerns and to inform you; our listerners, on  how we can get involved in the fight for votting rights, no matter where you are. I strongly believe that what happes to one directly, happes to us all indrectly. And, this is why we felft this special edition of the podcast was necessary.

PLUS, as a part of the historical context of voter suppression, we plan to share a powerful excerpt from Dr. King's famous address given at the end of the 3rd march accross the Emund Petitus Bridge; and in front of the Alabama State Capital on March 25th 1965 entitled, "How Long, Not Long!" This address was a culmination of a series of attempts to cross the Edmund Petitus Bridge in a march for voting rights, which ulimately led to the passage of the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Till this day, the Voting Rights Act is considered to be the most impactful piece of legislation that was ever passed in the history of this nation. And, we plan to go LIVE later this evening at 9:30pm to discuss the show and a lot more. Follow us @TOLRadioHostMSN to join the discussion, and be sure to Rate, Review & Subscribe to the podcast.  Your support of the #ThinkingOutLoudRadioShow is greatly appreciated!
