October is Domestic Abuse Awareness Month.  The NFL has shined a light on this issue, but it is an issue that has been around a long time.  The Pistorius case, along with the high-profile Ray Rice case dominating headlines this week, reminds us that domestic violence in sports is not uncommon.

The incidence of Domestic abuse within the Military and Police force is staggering.  It happens in all walks of life.
