Americans are more stressed out than ever before.  And we are losing the war against stress.  We've been bringing a butter knife to a gun fight.  Today, 1 in 4 American women ages 40 to 50 are taking anti-anxiety or anti-depresssant medications along with 15% of American men (men tend to not ask for help and stress gnaws away at their health until it shows up as a serious illness at some point.)  If you go to your doctor, they'll drug you.  If you go to a wellness expert, they'll tell you to exercise every day and eat more fruits and vegetables.  This helps a little, but when it comes to managing stresss, what they won't tell you could hurt you.
