Volume 167 of The Sports Objective Podcast features former longtime ESPN Senior Producer and current host of The Sports Spectrum Podcast Jason Romano and Admin for the ECU Football Facebook page Steve Parker. Romano, who spent 17 years with ESPN as a talent booker and producer, played a pivotal role in producing shows such as Monday Night Football, College GameDay, Mike and Mike In The Morning and more! Jason's faith is of the utmost importance to him, which led him away from ESPN to host the Sports Spectrum Podcast where he has conversations with notable athletes, coaches, entertainers and more re: their faith in God through his son Jesus Christ! He also authored the book, "Live To Forgive" and has another book on the way for 2020! Hear him discuss those ventures PLUS re-live nearly two decades of working with guys like Stuart Scott, Dan Patrick, Kenny Mayne, Scott Van Pelt and more! Steve Parker is a 1990 alum of East Carolina University. Steve, who makes his home in Raleigh, is a passionate Pirate and does all he can to advance everything ECU. He is "admin emeritus" for the ECU Football Facebook page that is approaching 7K members. The group led an initiative entitled "The Difference $2 Dollars Can Make" that raised $10,610 over a six-week period during the 2018 football season. If you haven't listened to our 1983 Roundtable with the Adams Brothers or our others, which feature a chat with Earnest Byner, those are shows you don't want to miss. The 7th ranked Pirates are on their way to hosting an NCAA Baseball Regional for a second straight year--what would be a first in program history!
