BREAKING: Chancellor Cecil Staton Resigning!

There has been smoke for the last several months concerning the potential resignation of ECU Chancellor Cecil Staton--particularly after UNC System President Margaret Spellings announced in late October that she was stepping down March 1 and UNC Chancellor Carol Folt gave a two-week notice for her resignation in Mid-January. Well, according to Kari Travis and The Carolina Journal, it will happen on Monday (3/18/19) and Staton will likely stay on until early May to help with the transition process. UPDATE: After this podcast was recorded on Sunday night, Pirate Radio broke the news Monday morning that it is OFFICIAL that Staton will resign effective May 3, 2019.
