Join the show and chat with Dr Jewell and her guest,Todd Gilbert,, a member of MarsWithoutBorders and Project lead for MarsTrac./ASU: a team of engineers from Arizona State University designing and building a 3D printed "Mars" Rover which the team plans to field test in Mars analog and extreme environments.

Todd Gilbert is a 10-year US Navy veteran of Afghanistan who is putting his knowledge of military technology and procedures to use designing equipment and systems for colonizing Mars. Todd has worked in Information Systems Technology, and is currently a Calibration Specialist processing imagery from Opportunity rover’s PANCAM instrument. Academically, Todd is pursuing a degree in Planetary Geology at Arizona State University under Planetary Society President Jim Bell.
