We have a couple of returning guests this morning - Jed Mottley and Jack Maher from local favorite South Bay band, Feed the Kitty.
Feed The Kitty may just be the hardest working original/cover band in Southern California, if not the world. Performing over 300 shows a year, they do it all: bars, clubs, restaurants, weddings, live karaoke, corporate events and private parties.
Having an arsenal of thousands of songs, versatility is the name of the game for this band as they can provide a wide variety of quality live music to fit almost any occasion.
They recently recorded a new CD, Ain’t Dead Yet at Dave Grohl's Studio 606 on the legendary Neve 8028 analogue soundboard featured in the documentary Sound City. This is their 4th album and the second recorded at Studio 606 with Producer John Lousteau. Just released on 1/01/2020, songs from Ain’t Dead Yet have aired on various So Cal radio stations, including the New Independent 88.5 FM. The music is available on Itunes, Spotify, and Amazon music.
This morning, we’ll discuss the new album, catch up with the Feed the Kitty Power Hour podcast, hear what it’s like recording at Studio 606 and what new projects the band looks forward to in 2020. We’ll also listen to a few songs off the new album, Ain’t Dead Yet.
