Our guest this morning is Quinn Fitzgerald, Board Member of the World Open Water Swimming Association aka WOWSA.

WOWSA was founded in 2005 as a much needed umbrella organization for the over 15,000 open water races held annually around the world. The organization has standardized rules and results, established globally adopted vernacular, and publicizes open water events. There is currently a vibrant and active membership of over 70,000.

WOWSA presents Ocean Fest 2019 on Saturday, October 5 and Sunday, October 6 at Seaside Lagoon in Redondo Beach. The two day event features ocean workshops, inspirational speakers, ocean races, awards, raffle, beer garden, food trucks, music and more and this morning, we’re going to learn all about it.
