Our guests this morning are Sargent Steve Kitsios from the Manhattan Beach Police Department and Kristen Mahlmann from Kinecta Federal Credit Union.
Steve Kitsios is a South Bay native, graduating from Redondo Union High School in 1994. He became a volunteer at the Torrance Police Department and in June of 1996, became a police explorer.
Kristen Mahlmann is the Vice President, Controller at Kinecta Federal Credit Union – one of the nation’s leading credit unions with more than $4.4 billion in assets and serving over 300,000 member-owners, headquartered here in Manhattan Beach.
Kristen and Steve are part of the Leadership MB Class of 2019 and the leads for the class project which is focused on equipping Manhattan Beach with life-saving devices. The class goal is to equip all Manhattan Beach Police Department vehicles, as well as strategic businesses throughout the community with Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to help make AEDs easily accessible and available in the case of a life-threatening emergency.
