Amanda Bernhardt & Lauren Meshkin, Manhattan Beach Food Tours

Our guests this morning are Amanda Bernhardt and Lauren Meshkin from Manhattan Beach Food Tour.

Lauren loves travel and food so much that she decided to make a career out of it in 2013. She first became a travel writer and social media manager for her own popular Los Angeles-based blog. Now she also works for other luxury travel websites, managing blog posts and social media.  She has lived abroad in both London and Madrid, and is always planning her next adventure. After experiencing more than 20 food tours around the world, she knew that she needed to create a similar culinary experience in her own neighborhood. 

Amanda has a passion for anything travel-related. She graduated from Chapman University after studying abroad in London and immediately began working in the travel industry. She also worked for a group of restaurants and bars in Newport Beach and loved being a part of the food industry. In July 2016, she got married, left her job and went on a 3-month European honeymoon before moving to New Zealand. Recently she moved back to her hometown of Los Angeles, eager to bring her passion for travel, especially food tourism, to her own hometown. 

This morning we’re going to learn what Manhattan Beach Food Tours is all about and what they offer their clients.
