We have a returning guest this morning, Jill Brunkhardt from Chevron El Segundo.

Jill has been a Public Affairs Representative at the Chevron El Segundo Refinery since September 2006. She’s very active in the community and currently sits on the board of directors for the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce, Manhattan Beach Botanical Garden, Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce and several other organizations. Jill is also a member of the Manhattan Beach Education Foundation Business Advisory Committee and former board member of Partners in Education and Leadership Redondo Steering Committee.

She has received numerous community awards including the El Segundo Chamber of Commerce Member of the Year (2006), United Way Ambassador of the Year (2006), The Beach Reporter Bright Light (2003), and the Leadership Redondo Spirit Award (2008).  Jill is also a graduate of Leadership El Segundo (2000), Leadership Redondo (2007) and Leadership Manhattan Beach (2008). Jill graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara (UCSB) with a BA in Communication. She also holds a MA in Human Behavior from National University and resides in Redondo Beach.

This morning, we’re going to run down all the nominees from this year’s Best of Manhattan Awards. Jill is the Chair of the event again this year and will take us through it.
